Cameron Bellm is the author of the viral “Prayer for a Pandemic” and many other prayers, poems, essays, and devotionals. For three years she wrote the monthly column Spirit & Verse for the Jesuit Conference of Canada and the United States, and she is now blogger in residence at Jesuit Media Lab. Cameron edited the spiritual anthology In Praise Of: Ignatian Letters of Recommendation for the Spiritual Life. She is also a regular contributor to Give Us This Day. Cameron’s work has been published in America Magazine, National Catholic Reporter, Geez Magazine, Outreach, Red Letter Christians, Today’s American Catholic, and Bearings Online, the web publication of the Collegeville Institute for Ecumenical and Cultural Research. Cameron contributed an essay on St. Óscar Romero to Gracie Morbitzer’s recent book The Modern Saints and has also been featured on Catholic Women Preach. She wrote the 2026 Lent retreat for the popular Ignatian prayer app Pray As You Go and also contributes contemplative prayers to Sacred Space. Cameron is also a 2025-2026 Seattle Public Library Writers’ Room Residency recipient.
